in 1614 by Raja Girdhar Singh of Amarsar. Khandela is the site of two
forts, namely Bara Pana Fort and

    he was granted the jagir of Khandela in 1614, granted a mansab of 800
    zat
    and 800 sawar in 1615 which was increased in 1618 to 1000 zat and 800
    sawar
    and in 1621 to 1200 zat and 900 sawar, in 1622 this was further
    increased
    to 2000 zat and 1500 sawar as well as being granted the title of Raja,
    married 1stly, Rani Shyam Kanwar Bikawatji, married 2ndly, Rani
    Kishnawati Mertaniji of Budsu, married 3rdly, Rani Agradeiji Bidawatiji
    of Sandwe, and had issue, five sons. He died 1623.

    of Bikaner, married 2ndly, Rani (name unknown) of Budsu, married

      by adoption to his estate of Akhaipura, married 1stly, Thakurani Brij
      Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Jaswant Singh of Hariadhana, married 2ndly,
      Thakurani Itra Kanwar of Rajagarh in Jaisalmer, and had issue, three
      sons.

  • Raja SANGRAM SINGH,
    13th Raja of Khandela-Junior 1952/1966, born 7th February 1914,
    educated at Jaipur
    and at Mayo College, Ajmer; married Rani Kishore Kanwar, daughter of
    Rao Bahadur Thakur Chain Singhji of Pokhran,
    and had issue. He died 8th March 1966.
