PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: The
Rajas
of
Kharsawan are descended
from Kunwar Bikram Singh of Porahat, first ruler of Seraikella. His second son, Kunwar
Padam Singh founded
Kharsawan in around 1650. The title of Thakur was originally bestowed
by the Raja of Porahat. The Thakur maintains a military force of 3 guns
